This past weekend was my birthday and I have to say, it was pretty great! It started out with a trip to Universal Studios, which I haven’t been to in a very long time! My husband ended up getting us season passes so we can go back whenever we want!! How exciting! Then we went to parents house for a home cooked meal, and not just any meal but my favorite pasta dish. I don’t know what it’s called but my mom sure knows how to cook it!! Thanks for all the birthday wishes! (the cat in the photo is my parents.)

So today is the day to announce the winner of the free photo session. I used this site to create a random number to determine the winner. So without further ado, the winner is Heather Maddux!! Congratulations and I look forward to your photo session! Since every post needs a photo, here is another one from Sawgrass Lake Park.

Today I took a walk at Sawgrass Lake Park and of course I brought my camera with me. There were a lot of people walking around enjoying the park, just as I was. This would be a nice place to do a photo session!

Three Green Leaves Photography is having a free photoshoot giveaway, just in time for Valentine’s Day!! To enter to win, just post a comment on this post and the winner will be selected on Friday, February 10th! If you know someone that would like to win, pass this blog post along to them!!
And since no blog post is complete without a photo, here is one from downtown Saint Petersburg.

This past weekend, we drove down to Miami for the 10th anniversary ING Miami Marathon. My husband and two friends ran the marathon and half marathon. I have to say, I could not do that so I have a lot of respect for them. I’m also very proud of my husband for such a great accomplishment! Below are a few photos from the race as well as South Beach.

Frank and Coretta were married at The Chart House in Clearwater, Florida on New Years Eve. Thanks to Sophan Theam Photography for letting me be a part of their day. The wedding took place right outside on the patio portion of the restaurant. It was a perfect night…not too cold and not too hot. Her dad performed the ceremony so that it even more special. Congratulations, Frank and Coretta! I wish you a lifetime of happiness.

Caroline and Evan were married right by the water on a beautiful Florida evening. I was honored to be a part of their day and to second shoot for good friends of mine. Thanks, Tyson and Julia for asking me to be a part of their wedding.

On New Years Eve I was the second shooter for Sophan Theam Photography at The Chart House in Clearwater, Florida. While I hung out with the guys, Sophan stayed with the girls as they got ready at a nearby hotel. Thanks, Sophan for allowing me to be a part of Frank and Coretta’s special day!

Darci and Josh were married in December in Pennsylvania. The weather was cold but there was no snow and there were still leaves on the trees which made the pictures turn out great.

This Christmas, instead of traveling to Ohio, we stayed in Florida. It was a rather warm Christmas but it was great. We were able to enjoy the company of family, which is always wonderful. Here are a few photos from our Christmas. I hope everyone had a great holiday!
